In the case of illness or injury of the insured person "Asterra Grup" S.A. compensates the healthcare provider in the country of travel for the costs of medical care provided including: doctor's services, nursing services, the cost of laboratory and instrumental examinations prescribed by the treating physician, the cost of conservative and surgical treatment in outpatient and / or hospital settings.

In case of medical necessity "Asterra Grup" S.A. will also compensate for the expenses of evacuation of the insured person related to his return to Moldova or the expenses for post-mortem repatriation, in case of the insured person's death during the valid insurance period.

The protection is done through the Nova Assistance International Assistance Company network (its hotline is printed on the reverse side of the policy provided to the insured person).

The term insurance can range from 2 days to 365 days.
