The registration of the means of transport is carried out by the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications in the person of the territorial divisions for examination and registration of the Department of identification, registration of the means of transport and qualification of the drivers of the State Enterprise "State Information Resources Center" Register".

Vehicles are registered in the name of the natural persons, according to their address of domicile, and in the name of the legal entities - according to the legal address.

Documents required at the first registration of the imported vehicle:

• request - type of model established
• the documents confirming the ownership of the installed units
• the technical test report
• proof of paying the toll for the use of roads or subject to periodic state control
• proof of compulsory liability insurance
• payment bill for that service
• the identity card of the owner or the person empowered
• The act confirming the registration of the vehicle is the Registration Certificate, commonly referred to as the "technical passport".
